Live from Muncie...

It has been forever since I have blogged. I just have not been in the writing mood lately. I have been stuck in the day-to-day events and hitting the repeat button quite a bit. Here is a quick update before I hit the hay...

I was blessed to come full-circle and be able to cross off something on my "List of things to do before I die". last month I was invited to meet a little one I have prayed for to come into existence for a long time. A former teacher of mine turned friend had her first child last November. She is one of those people that totally deserve to have someone call her "mama". She cares for children each day as an elementary school teacher with love and compassion, fairness and inspiration. It brought a smile to my heart and tears to my eyes to see her have her very own son. This is what i call the good stuff.

Today an old friend from high school made his tv debut on the Disney Channel's series JONAS. I absolutely adored this young man's talent and personality in high school. I preformed alongside him in a couple of musicals back in the day :) lol. It is so cool to say, I knew him when!

I believe I have mentioned before a wonderful woman with 2 beautiful little girls, who used to teach me piano and voice lessions as well as was my middle school choir director. I was blessed today to see one of her shows again. It was a 50's type musical review show called "The Taffetas" I saw it a few years ago when she was not yet a mommy! Laura is so talented she can out play just about anybody on the piano and has such a versitaile voice. I LOVE seeing her in her element and enjoying her as not only a mother and teacher and friend but also amazingly talented. It was so neat to hear the audiences reaction to her and think, that's Laura, oh if you only knew, she is talented beyond belief and so caring, loving and inspirational to so many.

I am loving working this summer, my Tuesdays with the Johnson girls (4 and 20mo.) and daycare babies, (Parana, Siren, Dora, Dribbles, Insomnia, Blanket, Monkey, and Bitty) As well as my toddlers and preschoolers whom I steal hugs from in the hallways. They are my life!

I am so looking forward to moving back to college... Jamie and I talked for a while tonight about the house and stuff... I adore Jamie, she is such a wonderful woman of God, even if she doesn't always think so. I can't wait to see what the year will bring, but I am also a bit apprehensive about classes and the grindstone... It will be a busy semester for sure.

Stellan and Abby are doing well, thank the Lord!

I am totally bummed that I lost my camera... I have a photography class this semester and I had a ton of pics of the kids on my SD card to share with you... Please pray I find it soon! I am lost without it!

Good luck moving back to college. And I will pray that you and your camera are reunited, I can imagine how you must feel. Take care and keep in touch!
